Week 2 – Disadvantage and Marginalisation in Australia

This week we researched many of the different demographics who are disadvantaged in Australian Society are facing financial hardships that are either indirectly their fault or personal in nature. Those who are ageing without proper provisions being made or experiencing a disability. Single parents not being able to make end’s meet, Lower Socio-economic Youth struggling to get qualified or experiencing mental health issues. Culturally marginalised North Africans, Middle Eastern or Aboriginal communities who can’t find work solely on where they are from or the stigma surrounding them. This led me to look at Social Reform Policies, Tax’s, Budgeting, Government and Global Spending. We also looked at Referencing Tools for Citations in later Assignments.
